Real Madrid and Barcelona are undoubtedly two clubs that are very well followed in the world. And even if both of them show a not so happy face at the beginning of the year, everyone expects them to resume to dazzle us with their soccer, which will involve reinforcements. And in this sense, they are both already on a new nugget.

The winter mercato is underway and it is becoming urgent for some clubs to recruit, although Real Madrid and Barcelona are not planning to do so at the moment. But the truth is that both clubs need to strengthen in certain positions, and Real Madrid even more so, since most of the players on the bench are not of much use and Carlo Ancelotti is running out of options at the moment and is on a very slippery slope. But far from thinking about the present, the club is still thinking about the future, since it is in the youth academy of Velez that he found his next recruit.

In fact, Gianluca Prestianni, a 16-year-old player, who will be 17 in a few days, is on the agenda of Real Madrid and Barcelona. Despite his young age, the winger has already made his first team debut with El Fortín against Estudiantes in the Copa Libertadores last year. And according to @hablemosdevelez, Barcelona would be willing to pay his clause. Velez has already taken care to armor its star player last year with his first contract until December 31, 2024 where it included a clause of 10 million euros.

And although his agent, Rolando Zarate, was a Real Madrid player in the 1999/2000 season, he has not yet started negotiations with his former club. As a reminder, Velez has already sold Thiago Almada at the end of 2021, causing a big void in the team, but three very valuable academy players have emerged: Luca Orellano, Maximo Perrone and Ginaluca Prestianni. The first was sold a few days ago to Vasco de Gama, the second is wanted by Manchester City and the third could be headed to Spain.

Gianluca Pretianni is one of the most promising young players of Argentine soccer and one of the most promising young players of Velez. Born on January 31, 2006 in Ciudadela, in the province of Buenos Aires, he quickly dazzled with his ball skills. He is a skilled dribbler and very fast on the ball. Last season, Prestianni set the record for the youngest player to make his debut in Velez Sarsfield history, at the age of 16 years, 3 months and 22 days. He did so on May 24, 2022, in the Fortín’s 4-0 victory over Estudiantes in the Copa Libertadores. His progression was impressive, as in just a few mi, he went from the seventh division to the club’s reserve team to settle in the first team of Velez.
