Mercato: Chelsea is angry with Thomas Tuchel and the management of Bayern

Thomas Tuchel is the new coach of Bayern Munich. It is therefore to set up a competitive team that the former Chelsea coach needs some people with whom he had collaborated, and one of them is still in the London club. And if he has publicly announced his intention, it does not mean that the task will be easy for him.

The arrival of Tuchel at Bayern in place of Nagelsmann is causing an earthquake in the world of European soccer. In his first press conference, the new Bavarian coach said he wanted to have his trusted men by his side: “My coaching team was not ready either, so thank you very much to your families for their flexibility. Arno Michels and Zsolt Löw, who have been working with me for over ten years, will be by my side. We hope to add Anthony Barry, who is currently at Chelsea.”

These seemingly innocuous comments were not appreciated by the London club. At least this is what The Telegraph reports that Chelsea is very angry with their former manager, because no one has contacted him to try to take Anthony Barry.

The fact that this intention was made public before they spoke to them is something they do not understand and has not been well received by Tuchel’s former team. For the record, Barry was brought to the London club by Frank Lampard and has never left the club since, as all successive coaches have been very happy with his performances.

Chelsea have made it clear that they will not let him leave unless Bayern pay for him. Barry is still under contract at Stamford Bridge and the way Tuchel wants to take him to Bayern Munich means that the English club will only let him go if the German club pays for him first.
