LaLiga: Vinicius Jr goes into standby mode, and Real Madrid enters a crisis

Real Madrid has put itself in a complicated situation in which exit is becoming increasingly complicated. If the club was counting on some individualities to get out of it, it is not going as desired, especially with the Brazilian Vinicius Jr.

Carlo Ancelotti does not manage with his staff. And if everyone believed that after the magnificent last season, the club would continue, it is obviously not the case. The proof in LaLiga is FC Barcelona, which is in financial crisis and is fighting for its survival, which is dazzling everyone by remaining solidly in the lead of the championship with 3 points on Real Madrid after 16 games.

Indeed, Real Madrid is going through a crisis that nobody knows yet how long it will last. If this truth is a fact, it must be said that several reasons can justify it. One of the most obvious is probably the lack of contribution of Vinicius Jr to the attack in the form of goals and assists, which was already evident before the World Cup break and continued in the return match.

The Brazilian has not scored a goal and has not delivered an assist for four games. Something that, for example, last season, the year of his great explosion, did not occur in more than three consecutive games. In the last ten games he played (four with Brazil and six with Real Madrid), he managed only two goals and one assist. These numbers show a slight decline in his contribution.

However, despite his dry spell, and although the numbers are not up to expectations at the moment, Vinicius Jr. continues to be one of the most valuable assets of Real Madrid’s attack thanks to his speed and pace. Since he alone is capable of unlocking games and Ancelotti knows it. That’s why he doesn’t plan to take him out of the XI in favor of another teammate, because those behind him (Asensio and Hazard) don’t take advantage of the “chance” that Vinicius gives them either.
